Loved the scenery round there, but the road traffic really put me off. Parts of the roads were quite narrow & winding, which is fine, but plenty of potholes to avoid! Lots of buses, cyclists, motorbikes, caravans.

I stayed in Inversnaid bunkhouse for one night and needed to get across and head up towards Inverness. Finding the ferry times were easier said than done... By the docs you can find the ferry times. Crossing it we opted to stay top side on deck. The view was absolutely breathtaking in the weather we had. So why not five... More

My wife and I were determined to visit a loch on our one day in Scotland during our European cruise. The train from Glasgow took a little less than an hour. After walking around a bit, we decided to sit back and relax on a boat tour. It was gorgeous. It did get a bit cold and windy out there... More

We loved the natural beauty & freedom to explore that the area exuded & our dog just loved the openness to be off lead away from modern life restrictions. I... More

We walk around the lake, through the hotel gardens and enjoyed the combination of green and blue... if you want to see this beautiful region from the air you can reserve a seat in the sea-plane although it is a little bit costly.

If you're going from Glasgow to Northern Scotland, don't hesitate and stop by this wonderful lake. I haven't been to all the atractions, just stopped in one little cozy village called Luss just to see the lake. And I wasn't disappointed at all. So, if you have time, just walk around it, take some pictures and visit most of the... More
