great to walk along with dogs or kids meet up with friends gets you away from just sitting chatting in a coffee shop gets you out in the fresh air lots of joggers use this track. lots of great views

Absolutely loved this walk along the river, it is absolutely stunning, even more so on a warm day. It is great for all levels of fitness, and there are always walkers and joggers here.

Took touring bikes to Ballater leaving vehicle in carpark beside church. Nearly all the way off road apart from nasty stretch on main road east of Aboyne. To add to problems, no signposting or description of options at this bit. Otherwise signposting OK but not...More

As I like to walk old railway lines this was good. Most of it is on the old railway, a lot of it a cycle way. Part is the Royal Deeside steam railway.

This is a lovely way to see Deeside while exercising. Walk, cycle or ride your horse but beware of other users. Plenty of places along the way for great views, rests or refreshments (Newton Dee for example). Most of it now paved and less level...More

We really enjoyed this walk! Caught in between some showers of rain but it was still very pleasant and the scenery was beautiful. Look forward to going back on a summers day

Hi, Probably best to park at Bellfield and take a short walk to the line. It's central, off Dee Street. Hope that helps, Enjoy
