Modern university on the outskirts of Aberdeen. Nice campus with lost of modern fit for purpose buildings and facilities for students such as a good gym and pool. Campus is leafy and pleasant to stroll around. Unless attending the university or an event it is unlikely you would have reason to visit.

I gained a degree here several years ago, it has a great range of courses and different ways to study. The campus is now based in one area with some great views across the city and countryside. Easy transport links too.

Robert Gordon University has a marvellous campus that continues to develop on the north bank of the River Dee at Garthdee in Aberdeen. Accessible by the public, there are riverside paths that allow for long walks. Parking is restricted on site during the day but there is ready access by public transport from the city centre. An eclectic mix of... More

I attended RGU as a student for 3 years. The views from the library tower over the city are amazing! The architecture of the buildings is also nice to look at. The inability to open windows from inside the classrooms that are effectively like greenhouses is a poor design flaw though. Food outlets within RGU leave a lot to be... More

This is one of the best universities in UK. A progressive university that usually tops employment and education polls such of that of the Times. I was really impressed when I visited there, some fantastic facilities for students.

I can vouch for two things... an amazing culture and best professional education. It is a beautiful campus with river Dee flowing beside. You can actually walk up to the river and take a break in between the classes.

The campus is in school hill next to the art gallery and houses the private school and former University buildings set around gardens. The university is now at Garthdee. You can't visit any buildings but it's worth having alook inside the gates if you are I the Schoolhill area.

Really nice building, excellent walk, and bang in the city centre (for the RG School) and a very nice modern looking building for the Garthdee campus.
