This is in a fairly central location and is well worth visiting. Some original jail rooms/cells. Fairly steep ,winding and narrow stairs so you need to be fairly active

An old prison dating back to the 1600s' - doesn't take long but interesting. Avoid if you are claustrophobic and don't like steep old stairs.

Another free museum in Aberdeen. Very interesting history and good exhibits. Staff were very friendly.

Amazing museum really interesting building the stairs are not for the faint hearted Absolutely loved the interactive display on the top floor in one of the cells Do not miss this if you are in Aberdeen

Found this place quite by accident but loved it. Lots of history and made very accessible wjth interactive displays and information boards. LOTS of very steep, narrow & winding staircases so be prepared!

NO THE TOLBOOTHS FOOD OUT OF THIS WORLD, IN STONEHAVEN,THE Aberdeen Tolbooth a chain I think,no lobster ,oysters or atmosphere. Get a Train or Taxi
