Enjoyed the tour of Peterhead Prison on Saturday afternoon which was very well done. Afterwards met and chatted with Jackie Stuart who was the warden held hostage for over 4 days and rescued by the SAS. Amazing guy for his age, can't imagine the ordeal...More

Yes we are open only closed the 25th-26th December and 1st-2nd January. Open all other times 10-4 with last entry being 2.30.

Lift available up to cafe. There are some parts with two or three steps to go up.but there are handrails

Like the other reviewers reply , most is flat ( my husband is visually impaired and got around with little guidance ) we didn’t go to the cafe ( found the directions confusing ) but yes take a warm cardigan or coat with you... More
