Almost everything you want for a castle visit. A tour around the building provided by a funny tour guide. Ghost stories. A look in the past and present of castle life. The only thing that lacks, but of course understandable, is that you want to...More

At Glamis Castle you get great value for your money as you get a guided tour with a very knowledgeable tour guide. The tour guide takes you back to way back when. Beware for the occasional ghosts ;)

The castle itself was very enjoyable, but unfortunately our guide was quite useless. There were only 3 people on our tour, and I think we were given a first-timer who knew nothing, couldn't answer any of our questions, and just read from a printed script....More

The interiors include a guided tour--only. It was very special to see where the late Queen Mother grew up and see an exhibit honoring her. The gardens were so relaxing--not too big, not too small for us. There is a walled garden that is a...More

yes, all our tours are guided, in English and take approximately 50 minutes to an hour. The tour is 10 rooms going from the grand (State Dining Room/Drawing Room) to the more intimate Royal Apartments of The Queen Mother.
