We visited Neidpath Castle as part of a tour we picked up from a tourist leaflet taking us on around interesting landmarks along the River Tweed. It informed us that, whilst the house was private, we could park on the car park and walk down...More

Our third visit to the cottage and just as good as ever. It really is a lovely spot and the accommodation just right for our boys trip. The castle itself well worth a visit to get a feel for more troubled times.

We thought the fees were excellent and the money goes towards the upkeep of this historic castle. We went to see the installation of the Warden on Neidpath and then went back to visit the castle it is fantastic.

Very old inside and out, with great views over the countryside from the roof. A little expensive for an entry fee of £8 per person, but if it's all going to the upkeep, then I don't mind.

My family had the opportunity for a private tour of the castle and we are so glad we did! A beautiful castle with a rich history and breathtaking views. Definitely take the opportunity to take a tour there if you can - absolutely worth it!
