We enjoyed the museum and items view. The obscure camera was wonderful, very interesting and we'll worth a visit. Can't wait to see others around the country.

On entry this museum did not look particularly inviting but the exhibits were extremely interesting and they were well-displayed. They gave a really good insight into how ordinary people's lives were lived in the past.

This was a very interesting museum. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. We learnt a lot things about Dumfries at this museum.

Nice little museum of local life with free entry, but definitely worth paying the extra £1.50 to go up 3 flights of spiral stairs to the camera obscura at the very top which is still as interesting as it must have been in Victorian times....More
