School trip were visiting whilst we were there. It is a small museum. However it was really good learning about the history of money and banking in Scotland. Highlight was seeing what a million pounds looks like.

Stop in; it's free and worth a visit. Take the tour at your own pace...some interactive exhibits offer a variety. We enjoyed seeing two school groups there happily learning about their monetary heritage. This really is a fun way to spend 30 minutes or longer!

located at the head office of bank of scotland, this museum offers some insight into the monetory system. you can see million pounds here. you dont need much time here to visit. the staff are very friendly.

It is small enough not to be dull which it could be as it is about one thing - money. Seeing a million pounds is fun and there are interactive things for kids.
