I definitely recommend a visit here during a trip to Edinburgh. The toilets could do with a revamp (I'm sure the same could be said for most comedy clubs though!) but the staff were friendly, there weren't too many people crammed into the venue and...More

Ordered and paid for the Christmas Special with luxury turkey burger. Arrrived about 7pm to a reserved table and a wee envelope with our meal tokens. The meal was brilliant fab veg and a succulent turkey burger with a great trio of sauces. The comedians...More

Had read here that there were few seats so to arrive early, joined the queue before the place opened at 730 and by the time we got in there were ones left right at the side. Manged to weasel our way into better ones with...More

As a group of 6 we arrived at 7 and got a table by the bar. Comedy was excellent especially the compere and headline act who were both superb. Unfortunately our night was tainted by the barman who at around 7:30pm approached our table and...More

This was to be the finale of our Christmas night out after a superb meal at the Honours restaurant but we were not warned that seats were at a premium and despite arriving at 8.00 for the 9.00 show there was nowhere to sit. Sadly...More

Hi, We do advise people to come down for doors opening as we do get very busy. Sorry that you had to stand for the show. We are not allowed for fire safety reasons to put extra seats out. Which show was this?

Visited on a Friday night. The club is small with seats tight up against the stage which makes the gig very intimate. It is worthwhile getting there early. We decided to get there early-ish but still didn't manage to get a table. We were able...More

Bit of great advice: Get there early to secure a seat/table. There isn’t a great deal of standing space and it can get very crowded. Plus you don’t want to be stood up for 3 hours. We had a fat lady twisting on near us...More

We loved this place, friendly staff, quirky decor and great shows. We sat on the front row and it was brilliant!

Suits and shopping bags rule the streets of New Town,
