This working palace is an enjoyable place to visit. The audio tour of the rooms is excellent - easy to use and informative. The abbey, and the gardens, are lovely.
If you are walking down the royal mile from the Edinburg Castle, you will end up at Holyrood Palace. It is a very beautiful place and is located at the Scottish Parliament
Worth a visit if you are in Edinburgh! We arrived as part of an excursion from our cruise ship and had a fantastic time. The audio tour is informative and engaging. The architecture of the building is beautiful. We highly recommend visiting.
Well worth a visit to see the interior of this amazing palace that has such interesting history, particularly if you are interested in Mary Queen of Scots. Lovely to stroll around the gardens too.
Holyroodhouse is not to be missed. So much Scottish history has taken place here, and the rooms are just incredible.
