Had a fantastic night here on our first night. Was with a really well behaved group age range of 31-42 and the group included paramedics. We went to return the second night and the bouncer not only refused to let us in but threatened us...More

Went last night. Usually go during the festival as a great atmosphere which it still is. However the guy behind the bar thought I used £10 to pay but I used £5. Told the guy but he was convinced I used £5. He even took...More

I went in with some friends to watch some live music, then a security guard from the club next door (bar bados) decided to ban me for no reason, WHICH HE HAD NO RIGHT TO DO IN THE FIRST PLACE!!!!!!! I hadn't done anything to...More

My husband and his band mate were playing an acoustic gig here during the festival. I went along to cheer them on. The setting of this place is quite unique, basically it is a pop up venue. The woman on before my husband and the...More

Fun venue. Relaxed and lots of live music by some brilliant bands. The drinks are very expensive, £4 a shot etc etc. Lack of alcohol choice. Bouncers are over the top. Won't let you take your drink outside even if it's just to smoke. Not...More

Comedy was excellent but the venue was dark, sticky and super expensive. Small can of punk IPA was £5!!!

So expensive for what it is. £4.50 pint of tenants in a plastic cup. Quirky layout good for live music. Toilets are in the main room with holes in the doors. Not pleasant.

Pop by here and get the feeling as if you have just entered a young farmers dance, or avoid it if that puts you off. The cowshed was pretty good, big screen for the football and a casual approach to having a drink ... nothing...More

We stumbled into the Cowshed on our way home, and ended up staying until the musicians ended. The toilets were a bit dodgy, and I'm not sure I'll be converted to hay-bale seating any time soon... but the drinks were cheap and the live bands...More

Princes Street and Gardens
Glaswegians tease Edinburghers that their High Street
is only half one, since buildings only line one side.
But what they don’t say is how extraordinary the views
are from Princes Street as a result. From here you
look onto expansive and decorative public gardens
beneath the mighty basalt cliffs on which Edinburgh’s
Castle stands proud above the rest of the dramatic old
town skyline. Yet many of those on Princes Street look
