You can access the botanical gardens from various points in town to walk under trees by a burn that takesyou to a specially well cared for and interesting garden. It has good trees and herbaceous areas.

This is a very good place to visit with plenty of grounds to walk around and interesting features. Unfortunately you had to pay for the Butterfly House, which seemed unreasonable and expensive!
