About
NEW DISTILLERY CURRENTLY UNDER CONSTRUCTION. UNFORTUNATELY WE'RE CURRENTLY UNABLE TO ACCEPT VISITORS. Just outside St Andrews, Eden Mill is Scotland's original single-site brewery & distillery. Since 2012 we've been brewing and distilling here, creating a unique and diverse range of beer, gin and whisky.

Not the number 1 thing to do in Fife, on account of being shut. Think it may have been shut for some time...

We took part in the Halloween Virtual Gin Tasting Saturday 31st October. Adam was our host. He was engaging, funny and had a great knowledge of the subject.
The presentation of the gins was excellent and the tasting did not disappoint. This is an excellent purchase for any gin lover and made for a fun night in.
This is probably the best virtual gin tasting there is. Can’t recommend this enough.

When we did the tour the old buildings at StAndres were still operating and the tour was great. Now they are in a glorified tent! Not what you would expect. Also the beer is brewed off site so not what it claims to be.
And for goodness sake don’t order any beer online at the moment as we did as despite taking our order and our money we have nothing to show for it
They ignore our emails and no one returns our calls so beware!
(The tour was not in 2019 But the prompt doesn’t give many options)

We travelled to Eden Mill hoping to buy some gin or whisky. The internet suggested that the distillery was open but we could not confirm that over the phone as no one answered. When we arrived in Guardbridge all we could find was a building site with no signs as to how to get in to the distillery or the shop. We did a bit of research which suggested that there was a temporary outlet in St Andrews but we couldn't find it. We had intended to spend a bit of money there but obviously couldn't. We had visited before and enjoyed a tasting visit in the past, we are fans of Eden Mill gin and whisky but today was a real disappointment. The company needs to be better organized and put out more information while they have these issues.

What a great afternoon we had blending our own gin and hearing the interesting takes of gin and the history of Eden Mill from Matthew who was very engaging and a fantastic host. Would absolutely recommend.

Matt and Andrew were great hosts. Matt was very informative and engaging but most importantly very enthusiastic about the company and their products. Sampling 4 different types of gin allowed us to try gins with pairings we would have never opted for. We left with two new bottles of gin, a bottle of whisky and enthusiasm for Eden Mill. Thank you for a great experience- we cannot fault it!

Eden mill won't pick up the phone when i tried to call about my gin not being despatched. They won't email back either. This was across several days. I have requested a refund with paypal. Very poor customer service. Either they haven't hired anyone to deal with this or they need to do some rehiring. If they don't take these comments on board then they deserve to tank.

This is a really neat class. Matthew was our instructor, teaching us all about the finer points of gin making and strategies for flavors. Then we made our own recipe and actually bottled it to take home! Really cool activity for about 2.5 hours or so.

Where nearby is a nice place to eat? Booked a tour without realising the mill is in guardbridge & not in st andrews...

There isn’t a lot of choice to eat in gaurdbridge except the local inn and chip shop. However you can get a bus right into st Andrews from outside Eden Mill which only takes about 10minutes.

I am paying a visit to St Andrew's and I am wondering whether or not it would be possible for me visit the gift shop to purchase a whiskey glass down to me being fourteen?
