This has so much about Glasgow police which is the oldest organised police forse in the UK. The historical items from famous murder cases in the city, the stories of them about the criminals and detectives and the overseas momentoes are great. Officers on duty are ex police who are so willing to talk you through it. All are voluntary... More

Came across this by accident shocked I've never heard of the place, being glaswegian I think we miss out on a lot on our own doorstep due to not paying attention. The display here was fantastic all the old police stuff dating back hundreds of years. Staff onsite where brilliant too

Excellent place to spend part of an afternoon. Very informative and the uniforms were amazing compared to what the police wear today.

My Fiancé and myself stumbled on this as we seen the man putting the sign out on the street and my goodness we are glad we did. William was fantastic and new his stuff gave us so much information but also gave us space to just wonder around and take in the information for ourselves. All the volunteers should be... More

A fairly small museum bursting with factual information, history and police artefacts from old and new. Museum guide extremely friendly and very passionate about his former career. There is no entry fee.

For quite a small museum, they have certainly packed in points of interest. Even though we live so close, we did not know about this museum. We did not know that the Glasgow Police pre-dated Robert Peel and his 'Peelers' by 50 years. The details about individual police officers, specific cases and the displays of various items will be of... More

Unfortunately during winter months it is only open 3 days a week so you need to check before you go as we didn't and had to go twice. However, it was worth the wait. It is quite small but there is a serious amount of police memorabilia which is really worth seeing. The men were also very informative and very... More

Policing old and new. I love seeing the history of policing. My hubby was a Strathclyde officer for 30yrs. Policing has changed so much over the years. It is always good to let the young ones see just how much has changed

50 years of dedicated application to both Glasgow Police History and other police forces of the World by its Curator. A very worthy museum for an interesting and great City and most certainly worth a visit and not to be missed when in Glasgow. An excellent display of international police items and artifacts that is unlikely to be seen anywhere... More
