We went to this Bowling Green after a recommendation from friends. What a delightful surprise we got. The Greens were in the shadow of the University and the Art Galleries within the beautiful Kelvingrove Park. As a legacy to the Commonwealth Games these Bowling Greens...More

A vibrant park with a great atmosphere. Walked around the park after visiting the museum. There were pipe groups practising and it was lovely to hear the traditional music in the heart of Glasgow The park is well kept and worth a wander around

This is a pretty good park in the West End of Glasgow, next to the Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum. It would be better if it wasn't so busy, though.

I would recommend going at 1pm on weekdays to hear the free organ concert. There is also so much to do that you could spend the whole day there. Excellent FREE visit.

Most people go to Botanic gardens but this park in nicer and a little less crowded on sunny days. Park is kept in good, clean condition despite the odd lazy dog owner. I go running most evenings so its very safe to walk through.
