An old friend treated me to lunch here and it was a memorable experience:the building-having been designed by Charles Rennie Mackintosh-is beautiful;the staff are efficient and courteous and the food sophisticated(eg.chicken with cafe au lait sauce) & delicious.

We were in Glasgow for a Charles Rennie Mackintosh weekend and this was our last stop on the way home. The house is magnificent and a delight for an enthusiast, with an audio tour included in the admission price.Well worth a visit. I recommend booking if you plan to have lunch in the restaurant as it seems very busy.

After being shown around we the wedding rooms we opted to stay for coffee etc. the cafe was pretty busy at about 11am. Five of us had coffee, tea scones and cakes which was very nice. The cafe decor was Rennie McIntosh design and very calm in a nice old world atmosphere. I will certainly return

We attended a wedding reception at this venue. It was very impressive. The grounds are lovely and there was ample car parking. The restaurant was beautifully set out with good table layout and comfortable seating. The menu on offer was excellent and service very good. Would definately recommend.

Very interesting if you like architecture especially Rennie Macintosh. It has a coffee shop and gift shop which are both nice but a bit pricy.
