If the weather is good it’s great to have a wonder through the various shops and restraunts , worth a visit if in Glasgow

I like the Merchant City. The pubs and restaurants are all quite up-market, and the lights are beautiful at Christmas time. There's lots of nice places to eat, especially for couples.

Lots of great bars and restaurants to suit every taste all very close to each other.Also lots of designer shops and boutiques dotted around the streets. Worth going to if you are visiting Glasgow.

Visiting Glasgow a must to see Merchant City which is still within the city centre to the east.The old buildings which were once tobacco warehouses have been redeveloped whilst retaining as much of the old fantastic architecture as possible.They now house a variety of restaurants...More

Good area for restaurants and bars. Inside the old market you have this all under the one roof so you don't need to worry about the weather. Sometimes you get market stalls inside and outside. Christmas time is worth visiting

Lots of things to do and see here from museums to markets. Lots of eateries from many different countries. Music venues and jazz bars. Don't miss it.
