The name is what first drew me to this street. With lots of restaurants, and shopping. It is probably one of the loosest street in Glasgow. I use it as a landmark all the time when getting my bearings around the city.

Lots and lots of clubs, restaurants and bars, plus shops that appeal to young people. Impressive array of stuff to see, fun part of town.

We walked up this street when we went into town from our hotel/guest house. Although its seems like a long street to walk it was bustling with people with a variety of bars, restaurants and coffee shops along the way

No need to visit this bedraggled street. Very dirty. Places to eat, but there are better places to shop in Glasgow.

This is not a morning place. Lunch, dinner and drinking but hardly any other shops. Not even a sandwich to be had before lunchtime.

One of the main shopping streets in Glasgow. You can find a loads of bars and restaurants. Nice street, very busy during the week-end.

We found this area of Glasgow while looking for a place to eat and while it has shades of a once vibrant area, that is now long gone. The pedestrian concept is great but that's about the only redeeming factor.

One of the main shopping streets in Glasgow. Also towards Charing Cross end there is loads of bars and restaurants. Easy to get too & loads to do.

Haven't been in this street for years and found it dreadful. Empty shops ,building sites , rubbish shops and beggars . Plenty of eating places though . Definitely won't be back .
