Pleasant council run park with a nice fountain and play area for children. Nice for walks but not the most exciting park Glasgow had to offer. Often the site of bands and Lucan festivals especially in the summer so worth seeing if anything is on before visiting.

Beautiful park. Lots of greenery, beautiful pond with ducks swimming about. Plenty of seating to enjoy the peaceful surrounds. A recreation area of playground for children and a spot to play basketball. A gorgeous walk!

We've been here last year and then again this month (February 2016). All the previous comments have obviously had an effect: the fountain is being cleaned, as have the pillars at the entrance. The railings were being painted as we walked by. The ponds are being taken care of, too: marginal planting to encourage wildlife is planned and has been... More

I went to Alexandra Park with my dog based on a woman in the Tourist Office who said she walked her dog in this park. It's a dozen steps from Alexandra Parade train station (from Glasgow Queen St), and opens up into two large ponds, small hills, trees, and a golf course. It was exceedingly well-kept (except for the inevitable... More

This was once a beautiful park to walk around, well kept , clean and tidy but it is very sadly being neglected and left to ruin. Paths, borders and walks are badly overgrown, potholes, uneven surfaces, litter and the filthiest pond you will probably ever see anywhere. Shame on you GCC

grew up in Riddrie and as a child and young adult spent much time in this park of which I have many happy memories. Sadly the park has been ina state of decline for many years. Entered from Alexandra Parade and walked past the splendid fountain to be raucously shouted at by some of the many low lifes enjoying al... More

Great park for a wander round on a sunny day. Some pretty flower beds and trees. A large fountain which is quite something but could do with some restoration. The ponds could also do with cleaning out. It's quite tranquil and relaxed and a lovely green space in Dennistoun.

Took a trip to the Alexandra Park Festival on 25 July. The festival was nice as was the park. Park had some nice features like the water fountain. However a few things in the park need to be restored. It was a nice park and a good day out. Worth taking a trip to this park in the East End.

We walk our dog around here most weeks. The park is used by many dog walkers. It is a smallish park but big enough for a quick walk. It is next to a golf course where you can watch them tee off. Its not my favourite park in the area but it is nice.
