Inside and location of Egyptian Halls is not bad but building itself in not good shape. I also think for that type of facility, they have lack of staff.

the egyptian halls have been lying empty and slowly decaying for many years.there has been many ideas about uses of the building but through the lack of private funding it has turned into an eyesore festooned by scaffolding.

Did not imagine I'd find this building at such a prime location! How can be left in this state? True the scaffolding is covering the disaster that probably lies behind it but this was once a beautiful building. It should not be left to time and tge elements like this. Love the Egyptian halls great place to visit interesting and fantastic to look at easy to get to and a must if you visit the city

Could be your first sight of Glasgow on leaving Central Station - scaffolding has been there for years, shops closed down and beggars behind scaffolding - pavement disgraceful. All on one of the busiest streets in Glasgow. Owners of the building and Glasgow Council need to get their act together. What on earth will tourists coming for the commonwealth games... More
