The house is great and the cafe does what it says on the tin. I don’t really see why it has so much negative press recently, it’s a cafe and you should expect to pay the prices for what you get. Would I return, sure....More

I really like Pollok House and the Park is lovely. However the cafe is really bad. The service is really poor and the cost is outrageous. Apparently the cafe is dog friendly but this means that they have a bowl of water outside and your...More

Well maintained National Trust for Scotland property. Good to visit if they have an event on older visitors can probably appreciate, The house for kids not much to do unless there is an event on. That said surrounding grounds are great for family walks and...More

I've lived on the southside of Glasgow for more than 20 years and have occasionally popped into Pollok House. I went in today specifically to see the Harry Benson exhibition and the guide at the entrance mentioned a free tour at 3pm so I timed...More

I originally wanted to title this review “best gift shop ever” but this property is so much more! We enjoyed a lovely morning touring the house, the grounds and also a wee lunch. The staff at Pollok House was so accommodating with our questions and...More

I have been in Pollok Country park many times but this was the first time I have been in Pollok House itself. Found it to be very interesting, much larger inside than I expected, with well informed and helpful staff in attendance. The cafe in...More

No, not inside but I think you can sit at a table outside with your dog. You can leave your dog at the porch at Dandelion Cafe in Newlands Park ( also on the south side of the city, though very small )and water is provided.
