Good location , just off Sauchihall Street, The State is a traditional Glasgow bar. Great atmosphere, a good choice of drinks and a friendly staff. Original decor, a good feel about the place. Defiantly call in here again

Just off Sauchiehall street, round the corner from train station. a traditional public house, clean, lots of choice, staff are very friendly. It could get rid of the TV's showing sport.

Decent pub with good selection of drinks on offer. Bit old fashioned, if that is your thing. Prices were ok for the area.

Good selection of beers. Lots of locals enjoying themselves. Happy staff offering useful suggestions on beer to drink.

Pub and beer us fine, but a useless, rude and arrogant barmaid spoils the experience. This pub is known for music. Barmaid refused to put music on because "staff were watching TV"

a really good plain and simple bar with good beer. staff and regulars are very friendly. only thing to watch is that food not always served. all in all a great place to get real ale.
