Hi Barry, I'm afraid your comment about joining in with the acts probably sums up why you felt the need to make this review and this response . If someone laughs at a joke or interacts with a comedian when asked to that's great -...More

I booked a show which got cancelled. It happens. The Stand however, dealt with it fantastically! They immediately transferred my booking to my choice of rescheduled date plus booking me another complimentary show for my inconvenience...free! I'm now looking forward to multiple visits and hope...More

We went back to the stand for red raw, showcase of new comedians and sometimes more well known performers trying out new material. £5 for a ticket and seven acts. Some of the acts were fabulous others were just ok but what a great night

We're regulars to the Stand so I probably should have written this review before now... The comedy obviously varies depending on who's on, but in my experience it's usually of pretty high quality, and it's a great venue for seeing big names due to its...More

Came here as a last minute booking on a weekend away for my wife's birthday. Really enjoyed it. Great atmosphere, good bar service at reasonable prices and plenty of laughs. My only negative point is the seating/table layouts could be better, we were crammed in...More

Hi - we do recommend going for doors opening for our weekend shows as they are very popular. I would say to be at the venue for 7.30 on the dot. Unfortunately its impossible to guarantee a seat. Hope you have a great time.

Hi, we are coming here for a work xmas night out and want to have a meal nearby beforehand - not looking for a big formal Christmas meal - just something nice, reasonably priced, and without too much fuss. Any ideas please?
