Whilst this is a great theatre the bar prices are a disgrace! Don’t buy drinks at the bars, totally overpriced!

Tickets for this don't come up very often so advise to watch out for them. Full price £10, seniors £5. The guide was very knowledgeable about the theatre's history. The best bits are the staircase, the viewing point in the gods, sitting in the best...More

Yes, the building looks superb. A high level indeed of internal decor has been achieved. But, the enjoyment of theatre visits are not based on the architecture, however fine. As mentioned elsewhere, prices for refreshments, whether water, wine or ice cream are extortionate. Not pricey,...More

We visited the Thetre Royal after the renovations to see Scottish Opera. The renovated theatre is great with lifts to all the floors.

Despite the queue the staff were quick to process the customers and we were in and seated within 10 minutes. Lovely theatre - comfy seats and temperature. We were in the stalls and at the end of the show only took 5 minutes to exit...More

Often attend plays or Gigs and usually have seats in the dress circle which suits us as long as you do not have a pillar in front of you. The extension adds to the theatres attraction with bars and stairs to each area. An enjoyable...More

What a venue, stunning and great views of stage. 3rd time at venue this time to see The Nutcracker, the scenery and the show were just fantastic.

Absolutely amazing! The sets and costumes were visually stunning and the dancing mesmerizing. This is the best adaptation of The Nutcracker I have ever seen. Thoroughly enjoyed it. Thank you to all involved. Brilliant.

Can only agree with the above - expensive as you would expect at a theater - but also not really very nice, so not worth "treating " yourself on a special day out !
