Yes, it could be said that Killiecrankie will always be the same but every visit is different in reality ... and it all depends on the season; weather; and water levels. We usually pass through on a circular walk from Tenandry (having parked at the...More

A great place to see autumn colour overlooking the river. Short walk to Soldier’s leap another good viewpoint. Lots of steps down, some now quite deep and difficult to negotiate for anyone with limited mobility. Could do with some path maintainence. Parking charge £2 for...More

Parking costs £2 unless you are a member of The National Trust. There is a small display outlining the history of the place. The walk down gives some lovely view points and some seats are provided.

Lovely walk but hilly and the path is very rocky in places. Well worth it for the views and to read the story.

A beautiful walk taking in lots of fauna and flora. We spotted a wide variety of fungi. The walk took us by the river with lots of sites and views to take in.

Spent at least 4 1/2 hours walking through some breathtaking scenery. Saw some White Water rafting. Impressive place. Well worth a visit.

Visited here and was really impressed with the staff and the level of detail given to go on a walk. Very friendly and good exhibits. It has toilets and would benefit from a cafe but it does have a vending machine so you can get...More
