Fascinating area steeped with history a lot of which I wasn't aware of. Great views. Definitely worth a visit. Went back three times during our stay in Pitlochcry

Killiecrankie is a great place for a short hike down to the river and back up. The visitor center is small but packed full of information about the history and nature in the area.

Visit the Soldiers leap while your there and imagine the terror of the Williamite Soldier. To round down that steep slope and then leap across that torrentila flow of a river. I can hardly believe it myself
