Fantastic, picturesque wood on the edge of Pitlochry. Visit just after rain to see the waterfall at its best. Autumn is also a cracking time to go!

We accidentally happened upon this gem on a trip to the Eradour distillery and saw the footpath from the road. A 10 minute walk with the dog led us to a stunning waterfall. Well worth the walk and gorgeous.

Perfect waterfall to visit after the Edradour Distillery Tour. Located close by in Pitlochry. This is an easy walk to get to the falls.

If you are a walker then it really is something you should do. It was just a short walk from our b&b to enjoy the countryside. It’s not a hard walk but you can continue on from there to see more of the Pitlochry surroundings.

Great walk up through the woods with one or two smaller paths down to the water and of course to the viewing platform for the Black Spout.
