The Eagle watch is manned at the nest most likely to be of interest. The Ranger is knowledgeable and informative. The nest was disappointingly far away compared to the Osprey Hide at Loch Garten. One chick had fledged and on a cold wet day, the...More

We visited the hide near Dervaig. Can't remember the rangers name but she was full of knowledge and enthusiasm. Yes, the hide is 300-ish metres away from the nest but with the binoculars and scopes provided you get good views of the nest with very...More

Hi, Thanks so much for the great review. Glad you enjoyed your trip with us and felt you learnt a lot whilst getting good views of the youngster in the nest. Hope you had a good visit to the island overall. Thanks

We visited both hides on the island and we got some good views of both nests and one parent at each. One eagle did an obliging fly past and it was great to see in flight. The guides at both sites were a mine of...More

Hi, Thanks for the review, although I think this was meant for Mull Charters rather than us. We offer guided trips to see White-tailed eagles at their nest sites, rather than a boat trip. Mull Charters is also on Trip Advisor, so you might want...More

We visited the hide near Dervaig. Excellent value for money Rachel, the ranger, was great, very knowledgable and friendly. Saw chicks in the nest and two adults, one flying into the tree.

Our RSPB Guide, Meryl Varty, was both very knowledgeable and filled with infectious enthusiasm. We saw both eagles on the nest at the same time - a very unusual sight. The eagles scored above us, when not feeding the chick. It was a marvellous morning...More

We went along to the Tiroran Forest hide not knowing much about sea eagles but came away having learnt loads. I was hoping for a view of the chick and a glimpse of an adult in flight at the most, understanding the unpredicatability of wildlife,...More

Hi, Thanks so much for the lovely review, glad you enjoyed your trip with Meryl down at Tiroran and that you got to see the chick really well. Thanks

This was a complete waste of time and money. The nest was a long way from the viewing point and even using the telescopes the view of the eagle was pretty poor. Fortunately we saw two eagles circling low further down the Glen. If you...More

Hi, We're sorry you thought this after visiting us. I'm not sure which of our viewing hides you visited as you don't give much detail, so I can't talk in specifics, but first of all the safety and welfare of the eagles come first, particularly...More
