Went to cockleroy first and climbed up it just by chance, didn't even know it was there. Amazing views from the top of cockleroy hill. After that we (my wife and daughter) visited the children's play park. The park is huge and perfect for the...More

We found this to be a charming campsite. With only 12 pitches for tents in a daisy meadow surrounded by trees, it didn't feel crowded. Although there are caravans on site, they weren't obvious or overbearing. We appreciated the small children's play park which we...More

I live fairly local and drive here most Sunday's to have a run. There are some pretty decent routes and even more if you're willing to wander off the beaten track. One annoyance can be at times there are not enough signs and I've wandered...More

Does anyone know how long it takes to walk to the park from Linlithgow train station? Or if it is suitable to walk with prams and young children thanks

I would not take a pram as it is uphill all the way. It also means using a country road part of the way with no pavement. A taxi is an option . No longer a restaurant so a packed meal is advisable
