We took a guided tour by Ilima at the Kamokila Village. It was very disappointing. She harassed us to purchase her CD after the tour. We look though her CD and decided not to purchase her CD. She immediately changed her attitude towards us and...More

We booked the guided tour to the waterfalls for Sunday. When we arrived, they told us, that there are no guided tours on Sunday. After a discussion, we got a guide. A Guide? Forget about that. The canoe experience lasts less than 10 minutes. Ok...More

Village wasn't much to look at, but we rented our outrigger with a guide there. He was great gave us history on his family and the river. The teenagers got paddle boards for the river lots of fun and a great hike to secret falls.

We rented canoe here to go down the Wailua river, it was a lot closer than other rental places to the things you'd want to paddle to and they had a much more liberal rental policy as far as amount of time renting. You should...More

This is not high end sophisticated but it was really neat to get a feel for how native Hawaiians lived. Our guide was awesome and fulll of great local stories. Worth a stop

Visited on a Sunday morning with a party of six adults ranging in ages from the mid-30s to the mid-60s. Owners opened entrance gate promptly at 9:00am (note: later check-in time than on weekday), and check-in was fairly efficient (we were first in line, but...More

This little "village" is a few minutes up the Wailua river road and down a tricky one-lane drive. There's not much of a village to it; it's basically a river tour/kayak rental place on some beautiful grounds. We rented a kayak/canoe hybrid and were sent...More

Very nice to see a typical Hawaiian village. To see how Hawaiians used to live. They give you a list so you can visit and enjoy by yourself, or you can ask someone to make you visit.

It's the same rate for a daily rental $35 per person from 9-5pm. They also got a 1hr rental for $20 each that will only get you to the fern grotto or to the swimming hole. If you do the 2hr rental for $25 you can do... More
