Beautiful place for a walk on a nice day, woodland walks and lakeside walks. Lots of picnic tables and benches too for picnics. Toilets and portaloos on sight but shop all boarded up. Good site maps around the park with different walks to choose from....More

Went to Killykeen Forest park on a day trip. It has amazing views a great forest walk. Would recommend to anyone who loves nature walks and lakeside views.

Great place to take a stroll. Amazing and beautiful views. Went in December so very muddy. There are a few spots with picnic tables. Parking on the side of the road once enter park in designated places.

Lovely place to spend a couple of hours in peace. Bring some lunch and enjoy alongside the lake. There is a nice forest trail as well for you to experience the peacefulness of nature.

Forested walking area with good scenery over the lake. Some picnic areas also. we only did a short circuit as we had young kids but maps are provided so you can plan what ever walk you want. Park is 10 minutes drive from Cavan approx.

Visited & Lough Oughter & Killykeen Park on a lovely autumn day. Beautiful place to visit & enjoy the scenery & walks.Some of the walks are accessable by wheelchair.

Great Park pity we did not get centre parks this would of been great for cavan town and businesses visited 3 centre parks in England great holiday resort amazing parks and all built with same theme
