Gorgeous scenery to look at, the real Irish experience of our country side. Big drops if you're scared of heights but still unbelievable and breathtaking.

A very quite, exposed place as you would expect a lighthouse to be. It was however a very interesting place, especially a trip up the lighthouse, just make sure you can manage the stairs and don't mind heights. Nice helpful, friendly staff.

There are plenty of places to stop and take in the scenery along the Loop Head Peninsula. Plan to spend an entire morning or afternoon, so you don't miss anything. Note: given the choice between Loop Head and Slea Head, Slea Head wins - barely.

It's beautiful under the sun but generates a long detour on bumpy roads. I strongly recommend to focus on other parts of Wild Atlantic way
