I have enjoyed several ballet performances and a UCC muscial here over several years. It is small but because it is steep, there is never a problem seeing the performers. Parking may be difficult so be prepared for a walk up from the river.

The Firkin Crane is a friendly, intimate theatre which puts on excellent shows particular dance shows, You will really enjoy yourself if you take the time to take in a show when you visit Cork, or just pop in for a look of the interior you will be more han welcome.

I went to see the performance of Magnetic and found that the venue had a nice atmosphere. The Stage and seating where small and intimate but it creates a chance to really get involved in what your watching.

I've been to a couple of shows here recently and like the place a lot. It has a strong sense of dance history, of course, and the main hall upstairs is well laid-out with its raked seating, for proper enjoyment of what's onstage. It's a proper dance stage and floor, and good lighting and video work are possible for productions... More
