We had a great night here! good atmosphere, cheaper beers/drinks than in other pubs we've visited in Cork! A definite highlight, with a great jukebox!

From a classic Irish pub, where you can enjoy a quiet drink, to a lively music venue, The Bodhran can be all of these things and more at the same time. It has it all. Great atmosphere, friendly staff, wide variety of customers and drinks, in a authentic setting. One of my favourite pubs in Cork, and there are many... More

Had a couple of drinks here last Saturday night. This is one of the few pubs around that still feels like a real pub. Great pub atmosphere...we popped in for drinks before heading down to Counihans for live music. But I'm sure it would be a good place to spend the night too.

We visited on a midweek night, the bar was pleasantly full with a great crowd. The service was good and the local Irish band was excellent. A great nights venue

Went to An Bodhran last night. A rather tiny bar, but the atmosphere was cozy and intimate with friendly staff. The best part was the two piece live band. Great original songs and music. A perfect first stop for a pub crawl.

One of the main draws for this establishment is the excellent jukebox! Very centrally located on one of best streets in Cork for eating & drinking.
