I went to Dublin from Holyhead in Irish ferries as it was a business trip and I would have needed my car. The staff were not the friendliest on the ship the way there. Coming back we missed the first ship so the unhelpful woman on the desk with the coldest attitude booked us for the next ferry as our... More

The crew were very friendly with one exception. The trip was very relaxed. Food was reasonable but a bit expensive. We travelled as foot passengers. On being told over the tannoy that footpassengers were to make their way to the car deck to disembark, we had to descend 2 flights of stairs only to be told, by a jumped up... More

Stenna Line is my normal ferry provider for going to see my little one in Ireland as they have a better timetable for my circumstances. Only downside is that disembarkation takes on average 30 minutes.....not with Irish Ferries. Within 30 minutes of docking on a sailing from Holyhead I was nearly at my hotel. Irish Ferries and Stenna in terms... More

Noisy, drunk, nowhere to put your head down, area with reclining seats boiling hot. Pay the extra and use Stena, terrible!

Travelled for the first time with Irish Ferries to Holyhead. I brought my car as I needed to travel after departure. Have to say I was impressed at how easy it was driving on and off. The boat was really smooth and quite relaxing. Food on the boat was lovely and reasonably priced. Ample seating and viewing areas all over... More

We recently travelled from France to Ireland on the Oscar Wilde. Before I explain why I have given our journey the lowest possible rating I would like to say a few positive things. The cabin and ensuite were clean and comfortable. The restaurants were excellent with beautifully prepared food and the service impeccable. My complaint, and it is a very... More

Couldn't find any other way to report about the Costa coffee cafe on the Ulysses other than this route. Firstly they don't serve flat white coffee. Why not? Ordered a small cafe latte, had to insist on a cup or they were going to serve it in a non recyclable takeaway cup (take away to where exactly!). Person disappeared and... More

We traveled from Holyhead, Wales to Dublin by Irish Ferry. We had reservations before traveling, but upgraded to the upper level when we arrived at the terminal. We had access to various items to eat and drink at no additional cost. The restrooms were a little small, but clean. The gift shop had lots of good items. Great, comfortable way... More
