A magnificent cathedral that houses Jonathan Swift's remains (he wrote Gulliver's Travels). It is the only remaining cathedral in Ireland with a daily sung services. A small entrance fee is charged for tourists and all money raised goes back to paying for the upkeep of the building.

Love this beautiful old cathedral. Was my first stop when I arrived in Dublin, and when I learned that there was to be a choral production of Mozart’s Requiem that evening, I came back to attend it. It was so beautiful. The music, the venue,...More

It’s a pretty big and pretty old church. It’s not as ornate as some other churches in Europe. But it’s pretty nice. Signs say it’s all original as if survived all the wars of religion. And Jonathan Swift is buried there. Pretty nice.

One of three main cathedrals in Dublin, but the park outside was an added bonus! You can explore at your own pace, and there are places to sit in wonderment. Truly gorgeous!

Great adjoining park with wonderful flowers. The history, art work and artifacts were very interesting.

This was my first full day in Dublin, I took a bus tour. We spent time at St. Patrick's Cathedral (Episcopal) and our tour guide was able to point the many important points inside. There was no service or choir practice going on so we...More

This is a must do whilst in Dublin. Steeped in history and just a gorgeous place. It is very busy. I found the gift shop offerings to be quite good.

This was amazing. We learned a lot about Ireland’s history while touring this church. My mother was in a wheelchair but they went above and beyond to accommodate her. The price was fair and the tour was about 40 minutes long.

We learned more about Ireland’s history here than almost anywhere else. The Tour is a must and thought there’s an entry fee, the tour is fee. Spend the 40 minutes. It’s worth it.

I'm not sure about guided tours but I do think there is an audio tour. We walked it on our own. There's a lot of cool history to read but we only had about 1.5 hours.

I can’t speak to that, but I can say it’s fairly small, so unless it’s very reasonably priced, it may not be worth a guided tour.
