Drunks at night falling out of basement "night clubs". Traffic filled drab depressing street during the day. I know of no reason why anyone would want to visit it. Do yourself a favor - Go down to the Shelbourne Hotel end of St Stephen's Green and forget you ever walked here. This street is not an "attraction"

It has some old Georgian houses, but they are not as preserved as the ones around Merrion Square and Fitzwilliam Square. There are a number of nighclubs on the street, so it should be avoided late at night, when it is full of drunk people. The Luas runs down this street too.

Where everyone knew our names. Local drinking establishment with kind bartenders and patrons. We made friends and had a great time; not used to tourists but welcomed us like home.

Not the best of streets to be on of a Friday or Saturday night, lots of drunks just dying to chat to you/throw up nearby. The clubs aren't fantastic but are probably up there with the best Dublin has to offer!

Like many Dubliners, we probably don't walk our Capital's streets often enough, instead passing through by car or public transport. This evening we had the pleasure of strolling from St. Stephen's Green as far as Leeson Street Bridge (we had booked a table at the excellent "Sussex Restaurant" over the atmospheric O'Brien's pub), savouring the moderately well-preserved Georgian streetscape. Our B&B was on Upper Leeson Street just across the road from Leeson Street Bridge and it was lovely watching the canal boats going up and down the locks in the canal. There are some lovely Georgian houses on Leeson Street and there were a few nice restaurants on Upper Leeson Street. Just a short walk from St Stephens Green.

A nice walk to do. Good restaurants and good neighborhood and good view. You'll pass through a canal to arrive in this st.

Part of beautiful Georgian Dublin, excellent for photography and surrounding streets. Seedy overpriced Nightclubs at night time. Don't go there! Daytime for tourists is fine.

This used to be the in place in Dublin back in the 70's and 80's. This was before late opening bars. It is tired looking and off the beaten track.
