I have to say that this reminded me slightly of the Bank of England building in London. The trouble is that the image they give and the reality of the situation are not always the same thing.

Got there for money exchange, check the timings before you go.. Usually before 4:30 it closes, but they close the money exchange system by 3pm so have to reach before that.. I got my money exchange on my third trip though, Same is with all the banks in the area. Rate was lower than the international market at that time... More

Be honest about it: the simple staring out of a car can work very relaxing on the quiet mind when you see the architectural building of the bank of Ireland on the background.

Check out the bullet holes in the pillar outside, before walking in to admire the lovely architecture here. It won't take long and my American cousins thought it a beautiful historical building. Enjoy!

If passing pop in and look at the old House of Lords. Free. Lovely old room of great historic importance. Many famous people have entered here. Shame to miss it if you are nearby.

It's a nice looking bank, in a building with an interesting history. But, in the end, it's just a architecturally interesting bank. Worth a quick peek inside, if you're in the area. But not worth a special trip.
