These books are amazing. You only get to see 4 pages of the Book of Kells, and 4 pages of another, similar, book. But there's a lot of explanation in the displays before the "Treasure Room" that has the books, and some more on the...More

First of all, Trinity College is a wonderful site to visit regardless if you go into the Book of Kells exhibit. I highly recommend the exhibit, however. It was wonderful to see the preservation of history in such a unique way!

For value for money buy the guided tour of Trinity which includes access to the Book of Kells. To avoid queues I did the Book of Kells first thing in the morning and then joined a later tour.

I had never seen anything as beautiful as The Long Hall. If you love to read and enjoy old libraries or bookstores then as soon as you step foot inside The Long Hall, you very well may cry too.

I do not remember seeing a cloak room, or lockers anywhere. They also don't have any space to put it somewhere behind the counter. Best to go luggage free.
