Liam our guide was very informative with a wealth of knowledge. The tour brought buildings and locations, which we had read about to life. An excellent and impressive way to spend a couple of hours. For anyone with an interest in The Rising.

I was really impressed with everything to to do with this tour. It made me feel that I was back in history, The buildings were so haunting and it seemed as if the ghosts of the rising were still about..The tour guide was very knowledgable and clear speaking...I will do this tour again whenever I go back to Ireland.

Excellent tour. Highly recommend everyone to take this tour. Our guide Padraig was brilliant, his knowledge and detail of the events leading up to the rising is first class. I could have listened to him all day. Will definitely be back again.

In my opinion this tour by far exceeds all walking tours in Dublin City Centre. Our guide, Padraig had a wealth of information. The tour was approx one and a half hours long,I cannot recommend this tour highly enough.

Just returned from Dublin and a very informative tour of 1916 Rising Dublin. The tour was taken by Padraig a very well informed gentleman, obviously passionate about his subject. We had visited Glasnevin in the morning and had got soaked. Despite this really enjoyed the walking tour and didn't want it to end. I thought I had a fairly good... More

Simply excellent. This is the tour that everyone is talking about. I finally understand why. If you are going to Dublin, book Rebel Tours. Don't be fooled by the watered down tours. Experience the real deal!

This by far exceeds all walking tours in Dublin. Our tour guide, Padraig, was so personable, knowledgable, thorough, & funny. My husband's family helms from Ireland, and he has done a lot of research on the history of Ireland. Even he came away from this tour with a wealth of new information. You will be pointed out great history, that... More

Our guide Liam did a phenomenal job describing the events leading up to the Easter Rising through the War for Independence. His depth of knowledge was amazing! Even the teenagers in our group were enthralled! Not much walking at all. Allow 2-3 hours, especially if you want to ask questions. Well done Liam!

The tour touched on the historical, political, cultural and economic climate leading up to 1916, and the period following when Michael Collins continued the fight against British rule. The tour guide was extremely knowledgeable and very passionate about his subject. Our group included those who already knew quite a bit about Irish history and those who had little knowledge of...
