My wife and I visited here on our last day in Dublin. What a way to finish. John, the tour guide, was most entertaining. He made boring history of time and dates come alive with his wit and humour. Recommend to all that visit Dublin,...More

One of the good places to visit - there is a 29-minute tour - which is mainly an explanation by the guide in two rooms, but an insight into Dublin's history. Especially the 'Rising' of 1916.

I researched and found this place while planning our family vacation to Ireland. We have never been, and found parking to be a challenge!! When we arrived (an hour late for our scheduled tour) they let us join the tour starting right then. Joan, the...More

Our tour guide, Sam was great. He gave us a great history lesson of the 20th century in Ireland in 29 minutes as advertised. He was well informed, kept us interested and was even a great singer. I normally don't enjoy history lesson, but this...More

As the name of the museum says, it's small, but the guided visits are fun and you do get to learn a bit more about the city's history in the 20th century - beyond the 1916 rising, which is the focus of many other attractions....More

We stopped in this Museum and were pleasantly surprised by our guide and all the history he gave to us about Dublin. It really is worth stopping by.

The guided tour takes approximately 30 minutes as they take you through about 2-3 rooms on the second floor. Then you can take however long you need to walk through the other rooms on your own. In total, less than an hour.
