Would highly recommend. Excellent food and fabulous selection of wine by the glass. Tried based on fabulous Irish times review and did not disappoint. Staff were 10/10. Will be back.

I would often look ascant at a claim of "organic". However, the beef used in the Ely Organic Burger actually comes from a farm in Co Clare. Succulent, tender and deliciously different. That's one thing, but match this with a Winelist which is totally engrossing and eclectic, adds a touch of total luxury. I recently went to Ely in the... More

We went on a Friday night, at 21.00, the place was full, and a bit noisy. We had a reservation and our table was waiting. The service was very friedly fast and guided us to a perfect selection of wine (and grapa!!). The food was fine and we enjoyed our dinner a lot. We will try to come again, although... More

My sister and I had a late dinner at Ely Wine Bar, conveniently located in City Centre, and tried a sample of several small plates. The caramelized onion tart was outstanding, as was the tomato and burrata salad and roasted mushrooms. The best part was our lovely waiter Ludovic who helped pair our meal with the perfect glass of wine.... More

I've been to Ely's on numerous occasions and am always happy with the great service an food. It's a favourite spot to get an after work drink and enjoy the sun on the patio. It's a busy place so you may need to wait a bit to get a table outside. Otherwise the top level bar does get a good... More

So the menu was not bad but the execution was awful. Flat bread pizzas were just ok. Order was wrong for one of them. After we told them that there was onions on the pizza, they told us that there was not. We then literally had to peal back the cheese to show them that there was in fact a... More

Having just arrived in Dublin from Los Angeles my husband and I were both tired and a little peckish. Using the Local Scout app on my phone we found Ely's and thought a glass of wine and a little bite would hit the spot. The restaurant is located in a cellar with a warm and inviting ambiance. We sat at... More

Cold steak. Sent it back. Same steak and chips returned mildly warmer. No apology or concession made. Otherwise food and service was good but this reduced the review from an 8 to a 5.

Went there for a work dinner so about 20 of us. Food, service, atmosphere all top notch. I believe it is an old grain storage . Could be a wine cellar or a bomb shelter for that matter. Stone all around you with arched ceilings.. Definitely a step back in time (true Irish fashion) Go and enjoy.

Not even worth one star. Myself and my cousin went for a wine tasting here and we didn't have a great experience. We were the youngest at the tasting and I feel they took us for a joke as we were completely ignored and nearly sneered at. myself and my cousin have a great interest in wine and have been... More
