Went to see Declan O'Rourke in the main room recently. Perfect sound and with only 20 or so rows every seat has a perfect view. I've been before to "The Loose End" space which is used for smaller theatre shows The venue also has a bar and some snack foods available at reasonable prices.

The Pillow man in the civic theatre was fantastic. The set was fabulous and even spectacular at times. The actors incredible and really brought you on a journey with them. The story line was dark but hilarious and I caught myself belly laughing at the darkest of moments. overall a fabulous play.

Took my wife, daughter and niece to see "Jackula" on 29/10/16. This I can only describe as a very entertaining and inexpensive show for both adults and children alike! (€7 a head) However, like most shows at this complex, early booking is essential to avoid disappointment as in some cases shows are for one night only! I have been here... More

We sometimes forget that Theatre can be a great night out and great value. Went here last night and as always the play was excellent. If you want you can book a Pre Theatre Meal which is good value. Plenty of free parking also. Bar service a little slow for the number of people but that wouldn't cause me a... More

Called in here quite a few times for business lunch since the new management have took over and I have to say well done great lunch menu and better early bird if you are going to the theatre. I went to the Interval Bistro for lunch with my husband & daughter last week. Was very disappointed with the food & lack of cleanliness there. We used to go there regularly a few years ago & the food was always excellent. My husband's job moved from the area so we had stopped going there. I am guessing it has... More

Just home from a production of Signatories - bringing to the audience the innermost thoughts and feelings of the signatories of the Proclamation during their last hours before execution in 1916. Wasn't quite sure what to expect, but this was really excellent. All human feelings were there - desolation, fear, wonder, awe, and even some humour. It proves that even... More

As an emerging playwright myself I was excited to see a play during our stay in Dublin. This was a wonderful production of The Cripple of Inisihmaan. Wonderful size for productions like this. The theatre is a 1/2 hour drive outside of Dublin center and we did get a little lost. You will need a car. Its across the parking... More
