I found my girlfriend and myself coming back to this place every evening to grab a nice pint: the simple reason is the amazing decoration of the pub, and the very high quality in-house brewed beers that they have on draft. Staff was very friendly and pub was clean and had a great ambience. Would recommend to any beer lover,... More

Visited with a group from the UK, including 3 teenage girls. The barman didn't like the tip we gave him and became abusive. We decided to leave. He followed us outside and barged aside one of the girls to enable him to give a foul mouthed four letter rant on how it was no wonder they didn't like the Brits,... More

First, this is in the Temple Bar area, where you must go to see the night life. The food was good pub food, but you are not here for the food, but rather the beer and they not only brew their own world class beers, they have beers, whiskey and rum from around the world. The place is very cozy.... More

This pub looks really nice and modern yet cosy. Weekend night was packed, very good live band was playing too. Would love to come back when it's less full

Nice live music on the night we went. The beer selection was phenomenal and they brew a good selection of their own beer in house. The food however was mediocre at best, nothing special or to brag about. Wouldn't eat here again, but would definitely go back for a beer. The staff was also friendly with good service.

This is probably one of my favorite places to come grab a pint. Brain Blasta is probably one of my new go-to drinks when I visit. The staff was friendly and the entire place has a wonderful atmosphere. Definitely try and make it there when some live music is happening!

Great place to eat and enjoy a beer or two. Multiple levels with tables. Food was fresh and tasty. Lovely chips! Numerous beers to choose from including the brewing company's own (other drinks also available)

Porterhouse was very close to our hotel and just from the signs outside, we knew it was our kind of place. We visited twice-- on our first stay and then our return as we were leaving Ireland. The people are great, the atmosphere lively and plenty of craft beers to choose from. We asked for a special shot we like... More

The Porterhouse Pub is a small chain of pubs in greater Dublin. The one I visited for lunch is right across from the entrance to the Book of Kells exhibition . This place is distinctive because it brews its own beer. There is good selection of different kinds of beers plus salads , burgers, and sandwiches. Pleasant servers.

We went on a Friday night and it was a blast. Just remember this is a typically noisy pub. No Guinness, but they have a good selection of THEIR brews. Try a sampler tray of three and then get a pint of what you like! The pizza was pretty good too.
