A full two hour tour of central Dublin, covering history, politics, architecture, literature and everything inbetween. Our guide Donal was one of the best I have ever had, kept the whole large group together and engaged. Would highly recommend this tour to anyone with even a passing interest in the history of Ireland and the city.

Great Walking tour with a lot of historical information. This is not a sightseeing walk. There is a lot of information given in historical places in town. The guide, Peter, was wonderful very knowledgeable and helpful. It takes about 2:30 hours but I couls easily go for another hour.

This 2-hr walking tour was interesting, a good length, and very enlightening. We wish we'd done it the 1st day of our visit as it helped so much to understand Irish history and the significance of Dublin. Our guide, Tommy Graham, made history come alive to us and helped us understand Ireland and Dublin better. This should definitely be combined... More

A couple of hours spent on this walking tour gave me a little more understanding of the history of Dublin and Ireland, and the connection with UK and Europe. It' fun, I recommend this tour to visitors who are interested in Dublin's history.

This tour is so informative and interesting. Our tour guide was humorous and knowledgeable. I learned so much about Dublin and it's history. We did this the first day we were there and it helped us understand where we were visiting.

Longer than two hours (so be ready). Our guide was wonderful. Thanks Peter! He was able to answer any question with a touch of humor and some legends too. It's worth it for sure.

We've been running History field trips to Ireland for our A-Level students since 2006 and always start off with this Historical Walking Tour. A fantastic overview, brilliantly tailored to our needs combining insight from professional historians with the humour and empathy to keep a large group of teenagers hooked. Brilliant response to student questions and those of their teachers. Of... More

My guide was excellent, and I learned a lot about Irish history. Of all the "tourist" things I did in Dublin, this was my favorite.

The walking tour was excellent. Donal was a master of his craft. His knowledge of Irish history was second to none. He took us on a journey from the 11th century right up to to Easter Rising of 1916. Overall, a great experience. Highly recommend. Tommy was great with communications, extremely prompt in making arrangements. He also provided detail on... More

I decided to do the 2-hour tour because I very much prefer walking through a city than riding on a bus or a car, and it was absolutely worth it! Our guide, a PhD history student at Trinity college, managed to give us a 2-hour brief history of Ireland that was absolutely brilliant. He had a great sense of humour,... More
