Food was poor at best

Food was poor, service was a shambles. Surprised they are still in business. Waiting an hour for our food to arrive, and when it did it was poor at best

I think the mercantile really should teach his bouncers how to - be polite and respectful (I'm almost sure a 22 yo girl, 50kg, sober and smiling, is not any danger to a big tall bouncer) - differentiate someone genuinely smiling who literally had ZERO alcohol from someone who is drunk... I think I don't need to "evacuate all the... More

Mercantile group haven't a clue what they're are at. Slow service rip off prices and no atmosphere at all.the "manager " Gavin couldn't manage to pour a pint never mind an entire establishment. Joke that this guy runs this place as he is so unprofessional and impolite. Horrible place stay clear .

My wife son and I had the beef and guinness pie. I got one chunk of beef. The rest was just a bowl of gravy. Foolishly we ordered desserts. One of them was the sticky toffee pudding. It was dry. My son had cheesecake. All cream and no base. Overall food poor and overpriced. Will never go back even if... More

Do not buy food here. We ordered a large bowl of chicken wings and a regular bowl of chips on a Sunday afternoon to share with beer while watching the soccer. Total bill for one serving = €18.25. What a rip off. I asked the waiter if he thought it was good value or over-priced. He said there used to... More

My husband and I wanted a nice brunch and thought the desserts in the window and the little French cafe looked great, but we were so wrong. I ordered a galette from the menu, but the waitress said she thought they might be all out of galettes. She checked and yes, there was none left so I ordered something else.... More

It is not that difficult to make a nice full irish breakfast. Their pudding were harder than a stone. I could hurt someone with that. Small portion and nothing special. The place doesnt have enough staffs on floor, we had to stand up and ask direct at the counter and to pay. It is a pity cause it is a... More

Attended a birthday party here and I must say it ticked all the boxes. The food was delicious and the craft beers went down a treat. Staff were lovely and very attentive. Great venue for the atmosphere we desired.

We really fancied a French breakfast and this looked perfect from outside. Dreadful service, awful bread - stale and more like a Ciabatta! the croissants tasted funny, and it was really expensive! Don't bother
