We saw a huge barge one morning and by the afternoon is was gone. There didn't seem to be a way out until we looked closer and saw the channel leading into the bay. The docks are close to the city museum and some apartments.

Great spot to sit and take it all in with the busy city and the boats coming and going you can spend a bit of time just enjoying life passing you by here.

Not a great docks area although it depends on where people think they finish, There are one or two restaurants and bars and some nice apartments & houses but once you get to the Spanish Arch I don't count that as Docks area so overall...More

I did a walk around galway recently and I walked around by the docks not to mention all the great boats a yauths , it was quite and peaceful as a painter its a treasure trouve you can make great drawings of the boats

We walked around the docks here and found them like all other dock areas. There was a ferry in so must be where they leave from. There were business & personal boats docked here. Water was dirty, lots of trash floating around.
