Had a good fun night in O'Connors. The place was packed to the rafters. The atmosphere was lively. Our table contained a sewing machine which although quirky, was a little uncomfortable as not much room for drinks. We could not stretch our legs as table had intricate metal base. The seats were not overly comfortable. The place was filled with... More

My first night in Galway I stepped into O'Connors and I was completely mesmerized by the atmosphere and the overall feeling. You are transported into an entirely new world where human interaction is an essential entity and every face you meet is nothing but friendly. The staff are the most wonderful people you will come across, especially Hughie. Occasionally you'll... More

I was told it was a highly recommended pub but as always the reality outweighs the fiction. Is decorated with all kinds of objects and tools that takes you to another time inside of and old boat. They play good live music and they serve beers so that makes you enjoy the experience.

This is a busy, quirky pub with a great atmosphere and live music. We visited on two separate occasions during our stay in Galway and thoroughly enjoyed it. It also has a good gin selection. A good night out.

I come here regularly and it's my favorite pub in the world. Super staff, amazing interior, fantastic music and a great pint. What more can I say?! Absolutely love this place.

My wife and myself decided to celebrate our New Years celebration with our Daughter in O' Connor Bar in Salthill. Never been there before or knew about it but as it turned out we had a wonderful evening in a very scenic pub. A big crowd on a night like this was a given but I loved the atmosphere and... More

Really great pub with plenty of atmosphere, live music and more Irish colour and charm then you can imagine. Staff are very friendly and the guinness is excellent. The decor on the walls and ceilings are second to none and you will not see anything like it anywhere else in the country.

Our trip to O'Connors pub gave us the true Irish experience. Even if you aren't into drinking, O'Connors pub is a place you must visit if you are in Galway. The word 'pub' is short for 'public house.' Historically the pub is where people met to settle disputes, talk about the latest political issues facing the country and town, and... More

Very friendly staff. A wonderfully unique and entertaining environment with so much local colour and history. Beautifully decorated for Christmas as well.
