Even though this is no longer a tour, I would recommend going just to see the stunning chandelier and the shop. The staff were very helpful in getting our purchases shipped to Australia.

Upon arrival, we were under the impression that they were still providing tours to look at the crystal making process, but they were discontinued years ago. Despite calling themselves a "heritage centre," they have no exhibits or even placards discussing the histroy and heritage of Galway crystal. Their products are very nice, but the name is misleading because all that... More

Good place to see alot of crystal patterns and shop. A little disappointed that they discontinued tours of craftsman at work.

Galway Crystal does have a very nice tour of how the glass is flown and cut. They also carry Aynsley and Belleek. There are always many things on special and the regular priced things are very good value. The real treat is the staff. They are there to help and are never in the way or try to push things... More

We had been looking for a suitable trophy when we happened to pass the building. The inside of the building is very grand however the shop looks impressive with many items on display. We bought our piece of crystal and was impressed by the sales lady who took our order. I would recommend a visit.

We had told our daughter we would pick up toasting flutes for her wedding a year away. She picked ones at Galway Crystal. There is crystal everywhere and it is just gorgeous! right down to the very large crystal umbrella holder...Only thing not crystal was the wooden sailboat in the front window. Up stairs are display cases of beautiful crystal... More

there is no tour, no information, no history. just one show room of beautiful quality crystal. it's such a shame that such a big beautiful building is reduced to one room. one of the saleswomen told me the crystal isn't even from galway, it all comes from germany and it's only cut in galway. it's not a huge showroom so... Think my hopes were maybe a little high for this place. I had envisaged a tour and perhaps something to show us how the crystal was made. What we were met with was quite different. A shop with a reasonable selection of Galway crystal but to be honest, there's a better selection in some of our shops up home. Really... More

We love that we purchased a keepsake here and an engraved vase for my in-law's 50th anniversary. They shipped it without any hassle, and it arrived on time! The quality is outstanding and the prices were great! If you have wedding presents to purchase, this is definitely the place! I gave a four just because it didn't seem to have... More
