Just an average street with some empty and dumpy storefronts too. A bit gritty frankly and bars had a lot of totally wasted college students. Wish we would have skipped Galway.

The majority of the bars have live music playing on an evening and even just walking down the street there are musicians playing and singers! Great place to spend time!

Yes!! It was bustling every time we were there, and when talking to some restaurant servers in the area it seems to always be.
